Happy Friday! I hope you are all gearing up for a fun and relaxing holiday cheer filled weekend!

We’ve had a few Saturdays recently that we got to have a slow start with time to sleep in, homemade breakfast tacos, and the Arsenal match. Adding in the Christmas decor and having Arsenal at the top of the league made it even better!

We had friends in town over the weekend, and we ended up touring Steven’s office for a little bit. While the adults were talking, Henry demonstrated his Santa mustache and beard, and Liv showed me her reindeer antlers. They are ready to take over the North Pole!

Henry got to meet the big guy himself at preschool on Tuesday. I hear dinosaurs were on the list, which is not a big shocker!

Crawfish spends most early mornings politely trying to convince Steven to spare a little of his breakfast. He is always unsuccessful, despite his little manners, but he is persistent.

We tried making our yearly gingerbread houses last week. This year I got the gingerbread barn for Henry, and the pink glitter gingerbread chateau for Liv. Liv’s chateau stayed together for a little bit, but she was annoyed that I wouldn’t let her eat any of the candy or frosting. Henry had approximately no barn walls together before feeding one wall to Crawfish and basically tanking his construction. It all ended with both kids not understanding why they couldn’t do what they wanted and Crawfish happily full on stale gingerbread 🤦🏻‍♀️ 😂

We had a big day yesterday, and I can’t wait to talk all about it on Monday! We’re going to spend the weekend celebrating this big day, including a fire for hot dogs and s’mores, and a tenderloin dinner tonight. I hope you all have a great weekend, and see you back here Monday!
