Red Bank Recipes- Sam’s Club Favorites

I love to cook, but obviously there are times it doesn’t happen, or we need something that will be ready quickly. One of our favorite place for ready made foods (and loads of other things!) is Sam’s Club!

We’ve never lived near a Costco, so I have no idea how they compare, honestly. I grew up going to Sam’s Club (weirdly, the Sam’s Club we go to now!), so it’s always been my go to. They’ve really expanded their options over the years, and now they have some of our favorites, plus really great deals! The next time you head into the club, check out some of these favorites!

ONE

Twice Baked Potatoes

These may be our absolute favorite thing from Sam’s Club. They are our go-to side for steaks, beef tenderloin, prime rib, etc. Add in the fact that making twice baked potatoes is a lot of work, I’d far and away choose to purchase these every time for a great price, time saver, and they are delicious to boot.

TWO

Brussels Sprouts

If you are a Brussels lover, don’t sleep on these! I don’t know what marinade they put on these, but they are perfect when roasted and crispy! I’m the only one around here that likes Brussels, so these are a side when we have people over, but they are one of my absolute favorites!

THREE

Filets and Tenderloin

Being a ranching family, we obviously love beef. Sam’s has such great prices, and equally great quality on filets and beef tenderloins. You can choose varying stages of trimming for the tenderloins, but price wise, you can’t beat them! We have consistently marveled at the taste and tenderness as well, especially given the price.

FOUR

Cranberry Crunch Salad

As an adult, I’ve come to really love fruit in a salad. This has fresh blueberries, dried cranberries, walnuts, and feta over baby spinach with a sweet poppy seed dressing. It is the perfect fresh item to round out any meal, and looks much fancier than it is when you are entertaining.

FIVE

Loaded Baked Potato Soup

I’ve made potato soup from scratch before, and then I discovered this and it’s so. much. easier. And still delicious! I typically throw one container in the crock pot to heat up while I do other things, or in a pot on the stove if I’m in a hurry and it’s done. We love this with ham and swiss Hawaiian roll sliders for an easy hearty meal! Semi-pro tip: this is great for when you are taking a meal to someone (baby, illness, etc.). Make the sliders, and then heat up the soup and put it back in the container it came in to transport- couldn’t be more simple!

There are tons of other items we love from Sam’s- from my favorite new cookware to these cute and functional blankets that we all like the most. I think it’s safe to say, we love Sam’s Club! Tell me some of your favorites in the comments! Happy Wednesday!
