Tuesdays with Crawfish {Part 2}

While slightly unconventional, Crawfish is a ranch dog.

He’s not your typical cattle herding, swift, agile, perceptive, traditional ranch dog, but that kid loves him some time at the ranch.

He gets winded pretty easily, and needs to ride in the back of the Gator or the truck. Mostly he barks at the cows and they avoid him, but it’s an overall friendly exchange. He absolutely refuses to jump out of the back of the truck- he usually has to be unloaded into the back of the Gator, and then loaded back this way. And in reciprocity, he also cannot load himself in the back of the truck. He requires that Bullmastiff stinky deadlift.

But he is a ranch dog- the best ranch dog- because that kid loves life at the ranch. He loves the wind in his floppy little (big) ears, and all the sights and smells. He loves running through the grass and the mud and all the weeds.

In addition to being an unconventional ranch dog, he’s also quite the house baby. He is currently asleep in his bed snoring loudly, very tired from a morning of going outside, chewing on deer antler sheds, snuggling with his stuffed bear and anteater, and eating breakfast.

We love Crawfish, the best ranch dog ever! 😉
